Cryptocoryne wendtii is one of the most popular species of aquarium plant, and the 'Tropica' variety is perhaps the most popular cultivar. This is a mid sized crypt that develops a deep bronze/green colour underwater with wrinkled/bullate leaves. Like all crypts it is prone to melting back when introduced into a new aquarium, but will quickly regrow from the roots.
